monique is having a beautiful day. :) she feels good about many things. its good to spread good news. this is the pre-emotional spin that occurs before spring starts, and new ideas, plans and opportunities blossom. Im over optimistic at the moment but it feels good and right.

My next project!

I've actually been thinking about wanting to make a rubik's cube cake because i think it would be hella awesome.
So then i decided to rummage through google and see what cake precedents i might be able to go by. I found some stunners....

and some that i would still be so proud of.. but not AS proud...

Then there were these hectic blackberry ones...

and i lolled at this. spud cakes!

spin-cycle

Kita likes to eat weetbix, soy milk with banana slices followed by two spoonfuls of sugar.
Everyday she walks under a cluster of flowers that tower over her pinned onto the background of blue sky. She wishes she has her camera with her. But doesn't.
She likes how electrical cords look when they are tangled. Un-tangling them are a different story!
Today at work, she noticed that a ball of yarn looked like a Gremlin. It couldn't go by unnoticed! She's also seen Mr Messy, a smurf and Gumby there too. People say they see them too sometimes. Sometimes they say they don't.
Kita says "remember your apostrophes!"

this lady came in to buy some ugly fur for her "collection".. so if she can have a "collection" so can i! :)

so kita decided that her winter fling had been a joke.. and decided to explore other areas of interest. This included a profession in which her uni degree directed trajectory seemed to land her in (although not her dream job), and then being rejected with many a 'this position has already been filled' retorts. She applied for a Media Planner position which appeared to be exactly what she needed, no experience, training program, student in their final year with a keen interest. What a waste of time to apply! It was this, or writing complaints to The System in hopes that they would listen to her. Ha! Come Tuesday, some other poor soul will be turned away and be required to get stuffed and find their own way. This is the shuttle bus from the city campus to the Kuringai campus. Last week she encountered a fool of a driver who said that if only she had waited for the bus at the other bus stop, then she would've somehow gotten a space on the already full bus. Jerk! However, this will all be quickly side tracked if she finds herself stumbling outside the door of a building not so far away on her new mission. A fleeting but returning thought...
